My Educational Philosophy
As a future educator I believe the learning environment is an important part of the all around experience for the students! Students spend many hours at school and in the classroom, so the classroom should be inviting and enjoyable. This is a representation of what I hope my future classroom will look like! Also the teachers attitude is a very important part of a students experience in the classroom! I will try my very best to always be excited about the lessons I am teaching and make the classroom a fun learning environment!

I believe in student success and happiness.
I believe in personal connections with students.
I believe not all lessons should come from a textbook.
I believe cross curricular planning is beneficial.
I believe mistakes are a good thing.
I believe in learning from each other in the classroom.
I believe every student learns in a different way.
I believe all students should have the support they need to succeed.
I believe all students have a voice.
I believe a loud classroom is a learning classroom.
I believe tests are not the most beneficial way of assessment.
I believe all types of assessment is important.
I believe in a theme approach to teach lessons in all subject areas.
I believe working together with colleges is a great leaning practice.
I believe in bringing experts into the classroom to help us learn.
I believe in exploring new places to learn.
I believe students need time and practice to learn.
I believe in student choice.
All of these I believe statements I will consider when I have a classroom full of students. I understand all students are different and unique in their own ways. I will treat everyone equally and make them feel they are accepted for who they are. I will continue to add to this list of I believe statements as I continue my educational journey. Looking back at this list regularly will help me remember what I believe a classroom environment is to me as a teacher. Continuing to grow as an educator is important!
